Wlikin's moan would have been better before the game as it would have spiced things up a bit on the night. Now he just looks like a whinging, bad-losing, ex-Rovers, sour-graped, cry baby.

Classic Bailey

Wilkin is spot on. Not in the way he's gone about it, but in what he's saying.



Bailey is a clown.

If it's within the 80mins well the niggle is a part of the game but as soon as the final whilst goes he should have been straight over to jammer like the others to congratulate/ show respect to a true warrior who has matured and is a true champion. And all the other saints lads deserved respect big time. There is no doubt our clubs, fans and players have become closer due to our epic battles.

I suppose Wilkin is upset seeing someone celebrate in front of him in the same way as someone with no arms would get cheesed off if you went up to him and started juggling.

It's funny really, he never had a problem with James Graham celebrating like a moron in front of Leeds fans at the 2008 semi final....like I said, double standards have been duly noted!

Can anyone, Wilikin included, tell me specifically what Bailey did exactly?



Not general comments like "childish" etc but specific incidents from the game.

I'm surprised anyone here's giving any credibility to wilkin's comments.

Yup. [iIf what Wilkin says is true[/i, then I agree. Bailey should be fined by the club. I have no problem with Bailey winding up opposition players during a game but this is out of order. If this had been Sam Tomkins against Leeds there'd be a 10 page thread of outraged Leeds fans by now. This sort of thing doesn't reflect well on a team that for the most part carried themselves with dignity during the play-off series.

He put a whoopee cushion on Wilkin's dressing rooom seat.

He was there, that seems to be a problem in itself to some.

I must admit I was disappointed to read this today. Both from Jon in terms of him saying it publicly and Bailey for actually doing it. I think Wilkin has a specific incident in mind because after your penultimate try the crowd around us exploded at Bailey, something to do with Makinson. Which I guess is what Wilkin in on about him squaring up to the young players and goading them. There was also supposedly something after the game with him lording it over one of the kids and showing no class, but I'll admit I was stomping through puddles outside the ground by then. It's a shame because I thought both clubs had done the sport proud.



It will certainly add a spicy element to the games between the clubs next season. It could have gone rather dull with Jammer moving on to better things. But not now.
