Quote Andy Gilder="Andy Gilder"So to summarise, the highlights of the Adam Pearson era at Hull so far are...
Launching a tribunal claim which he knew they had sod all chance of winning, then throwing a strop
Wade McKinnon leaving not even halfway through a contract
Willie Manu refusing to sign a new contract and leaving on a free
Jordan Turner stalling on whether to sign a new deal or not
I can see why he's been heralded as the messiah with a record like that.'"
Underneath the bluster they're worried:
viewtopic.php?f=34&t=526559&tsmp=1335962115
My guess re Manu - Pearson's desire to get one over Hetherington has led to him dramatically over-bidding for Ellis, putting severe pressure on the rest of their salary cap. Schoolboy error - he needs to know when the opposition are actually bidding or just bidding up.

Possible that or maybe Ellis is on a massive wage, p#ssing off some of the other higher earners in the team.

| Maybe it's similar to how Bradford treated Peacock when they signed Harris.
Didn't they say they didn't have any cash available for give a better contract then suddenly they pull out a mega signing which angers Peacock and fuels his move to Leeds? Not saying he wasn't going to Leave the Bulls for Leeds anyway, I don't know the story. But I seem to remember an argument like that. It certainly showed Peacock what the board thought of him... If true! I may have made this up totally!

| I would imagine that peacock would still be at Bradford if Harris had never gone there

| Hulls offer to Manu was the highest wage at the club!

Not according to McRae.
"We made Willie a number of large offers that would have made him considerably [uone of[/u the highest earners at the club but he has decided to look for a contact elsewhere."
He would also have been playing second fiddle to Ellis next year.

| McRae always seems quick to show his hand regarding pending contracts. Can't see how this benefits him what-so-ever.
