Smokey, i agree with Gotcha in regard i don't think Sutcliffe will make a half.he is a good rugby player no doubt and will make it somewhere, likely back row but we need to move on from him at 6. Lilley may become a player but still needs a few years of developing.Mags is near done and there is nobody else.the thought of having Carney for even 2-3 years now would be a god send imo.

Just a query for Friday's game as am thinking of going and taking a friend along from Scotland who will be about... How long does it (roughly) take to get along to Hull and how bad might the traffic be? Thinking of taking advantage of the 'free coach travel' offer but don't really have any prior experience of making the trip (as am sure many of you do) to know what to do for the best. Thanks for any help you can provide.

@jamie - depends where you are talking of travelling from. On good friday from leeds to hull it should be not too bad traffic later in the day as it might be on a normal friday as it is a bank hols but you never know.if it is steady i would say just over an hour.if you are are traveling from north of the border i have no idea i am afraid! Enjoy the game

Friend is heading down early Friday morning so would be heading from Leeds on the free buses being offered by the club. Just trying to work out if this Good Friday would be the best / easiest time to go, but I never go eastbound on the M62 any time other than at 7.30am during the week so have no idea! It is all about how you manage the player to get the best out of them - Carney may well be a lost cause but you cannot ignore his talent - he is way ahead of any other HB in SL.



If you look at Hardaker he appears to have settled down under Powell's style - this may be a temporary blip or a sign of him growing up either way he seems to have adapted positively to a change in management approach.

I remember him being quality at Canberra & the Roosters prior to his usual meltdowns but he's dine zip over here to earn such praise.

Silly question, of course he vilified Hardaker and also had a go at the club and coach at every opportunity too.

He's now laying the foundations to have further digs at the Leeds coach by mentioning how well Hardaker's doing, if you think going 2 months without getting in to trouble is doing well of course.

I agree, we also don't need to be breaking the bank to buy a winger who's had a few stand out games in a 2nd rate team, to replace a stand out winger who's had a few poor performances.
