This needs it's own thread the amount times it crops up but I agree with you. I dont know if its club strategy or they can't find a player of sufficient quality that is available but to me having prior, mik and holroyd is no where near what we need.As I've said before, the quality and consistency shown by prior and mik have done nothing but paper over a crack. Shame ava left.

Hearing that Oledzki isn’t the only one that’s out and Sutcliffe will join him on the sidelines.

Tetevano should be the 4th prop. It’s easily his best position and one he played the majority of the time in the NRL.

Sutcliffe doesn’t make my starting side most weeks but it does leave us light at centre.



You do start to wonder whether this season should be written off and we just start building in some experience for the young ones. We aren’t going to get relegated this year you wouldn’t think.



My concern is if we push too hard we just burn out players and introduce more injuries. The young lads don’t have anywhere to play and so why not give game time to O’Connor, Walters, Gannon and maybe one or two from the academy this year?



I guess we’ll see how we go over the next couple of rounds but this really is a silly season.

Too many games close together equals lots of injuries. Always bound to happen these latest set backs

It's not just us though, all clubs seem to have had multiple injuries this year. I cant think of one team that has their 1-13 starting at any point in the season. Probably wrong but I cant think of any.

I feel like Saints and Catalans have fielded a fairly consistent line up hence why they are at the top of the table.

Running such small squads doesn't help either, injuries/suspensions are more impactful when you are so reliant on an ever diminishing core number of players, then pad out the match day squads with lower league/academy/never were/never will be players

Not sure about small squad. The only position are we are a bit thin is up front. Other than that we have pretty well covered. We could have spelled our forwards in recent more which may have helped with burnout.
