McGuire did have a period when he was injured quite a bit.One of our old posters used to call him Biscuit Bones.

Must be me as I don`t recall them missing many apart from the really serious injuries as the previous poster has said.

Austin/Sezer seem to miss more with the odd niggle type injury.

I remember him getting a serious leg/knee injury when Phil Clake said it was the work of the rugby gods that resulted in McGuire’s injury as he had committed some form of foul play (I think pulling a player back off the ball). I can’t recall many other injuries from McGuire, I’m sure he had more injuries but as he played in over 400 games for us he must have been available most of the time.

This one should be a good game that can go either way, if we can pick up back to back wins against Wigan and Catalans I’ll confident say we’ll make the playoffs, and from the playoffs we’ve seen before anything can happen.

No decent radio coverage of the game. BBC Radio Humberside send Richard Stead over to Toulouse and Perpignan to cover Hull and KR games, nothing from Leeds though as ever.

I know the club are doing a commentary (of sorts) on YouTube, but are they also doing Twitter updates too? I can’t listen to the YouTube thing, it was awful last time…
