I would love to see Sutty have a run at as he looks very dangerous and hard to handle whilst running out wide

| I'd agree with tad on signing Briscoe. He's a quality player - and I think we might well see him in top form again wherever he ends up next year, once his future is sorted. But wing just isn't an area we need to strengthen particularly urgently, unless BJB has expressed a desire to leave, which would change things.
On Hardaker, he might well make a 6, but he's looking so good at 1 at the moment it'd seem a shame to move him.
Sutcliffe has really impressed me. Lot of work to do. I think he might well end up in the pack or centre, depending what happens to his speed when he fills out (which he looks like he still will).

| Will be a fantastic signing for you, never gets a pass at Hull, will score loads outside of Moon or Watkins.
Still only 23, works so hard for the team, has a few faults, but his positives far outweigh his negatives and I expect him to get back form next year.

Absolutely.
A full back with leanings towards stand off, who can chime into the attack, is a great asset to have, a la Webb but without the tendency to take people's heads off.
It's all very well having a stack of potential 6's ... but it would seem that, as long as Sinfield is playing for Leeds, the position is taken.

| I'm not sure Hardaker will make a 6 in the short term. When he was at left centre he didn't seem able to pass left.
For now, I'd prefer to keep him at fullback, but encourage him to be more webb-like without putting the pressure on him to run the game.
Sutcliffe looks decent to me, and could fill a number of positions. However, I'm not sure 6 is his position. We will see I guess

I'd agree Eagle.
He seems at his most dangerous when he's running with the ball Route One style, picking the holes in broken field..evasion...speed etc.
He doesn't chime into our attacking line much at the moment. I'd be happy to see his development continue at FB.

Quote tvoc="tvoc"Briscoe would make an excellent addition to the already strong three-quarter line up but hasn't the CEO more or less said there will be no new signings for the 2014 season?
www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/s ... -1-5754990'"
Indeed.
Given the holes left in their salary cap by the departure of Tomkins and Richards, I wouldn't be surprised to see Briscoe end up at Wigan.
As far as the Warrington full-back role is concerned, Ratchford seems to be preparing to take over from Hodgson at least until Briers calls it a day and he can move into the stand off role.

| Tony Smith selected Ratchford ahead of Hodgson purely on form, for the giants game.
Massive endorsement for Ratchford. So cant see hodgson playing for Wire again. There probably isnt many games Hodgson hasnt been selected for in his career.

| I suspect there are 13 other clubs in SL who would quite like Tom Lineham.
If Hull FC sell though, Adam Pearson is going to need to find a way to spin it to the fans to avoid being lynched. Which is why I would be surprised to see it happening, at least this year anyway.
