| It`s come to something when we are hoping we can get a few wins against bottom 6 teams and not get relegated.
Whilst we have squad fillers who wouldn`t normally get in the 17 if all our players were fit.
We have enough class out there to be top 6.
The fact we are struggling has got to be down to the coaching.
We live in the past and give jobs to the boys and the boys pick their mates Briscoe and Sutcliffe spring to mind where JJB is concerned.
A new coach needs to get rid of the likes of JJB, Walker, Long and insist Agar does not get the DOR role.
They then need to get rid of the players who offer nothing and rebuild for the 7th year in a row.
Only then can we move forward and forget the golden generation.
It happened we enjoyed it but it was a long time ago.
Lets try and look forward and hope the 7th year of asking delivers the goods.

| If you believe the rumours, JJB seriously undermined Furner when he was at the club. Furner got sacked because JJB is Kev's best mate of course. If and when the new coach is installed then JJB should be the first one out of the club, followed closely by Long, oh and that guy who seems to have a job for life at Leeds, Davidson.

| I’m sick and tired of the phrase “Rhinos DNA” and the constant harking back 5 years to 2017 for the hurrah of it and 7 years since the end of the ACTUAL “Rhinos DNA” is laughable.
These players need to create their own legacy and battle stories, shoving the exploits of players from 7+ years ago down their throats isn’t helping anyone or anything, leave that period where it belongs, in the past and unsullied.

The things that should have been passed on left the building in 2017 when the last of the golden generation retired. All the current bunch can pass on is mediocrity. I don't think constantly referring to the golden generation will inspire the current crop. Just adds pressure to a group that need to remember why they started playing the game in the first place

I’m really not sure the whole living on past glories thing is true. I’m more practical and think we have a lack of quality and depth, horrendous injury runs year after year , awful luck re-our best player and leader (Ward) and the most promising young player we had (Walker)

These players need to create their own legacy and battle stories, shoving the exploits of players from 7+ years ago down their throats isn’t helping anyone or anything, leave that period where it belongs, in the past and unsullied.'" exactly no dna it's a simple game where for a period a lot came together - players that could support a move and score, mags , burrow , webb , hardaker, wingers that can run hall , bai, calders , bishop, donald , centres that could break the line senior, watkins , sinfield's game management , peacock and kylie, couple of good hookers diskin buderus, quality 2nd row ellis , ali , ablett , throw in moon , cuthbo , delaney ,garbutt, parcell , young bailey , ward, smith
now we have a crocked walker, myler in an indian summer who may never have played fb, tindall with promise , brisoe should have left 5 yr ago , handley can run but needs a clear field , no centre other than newman who may keep breaking down , 4 overseas players yet to add anything an prior may be a season too far , big mick good but not as big as other teams big men , hookers average , no 2nd riow that can break line and bang average lf's an subs
the eye went off the ball signing wise from when we added the right quality player ellis , jp , buderus
walmsley was a big miss
some nowlike leeming an mellor looking good at huds are like the 80s getting players that looked good at wakefield but were a down grade for us

| Quote mattsrhinos1978="mattsrhinos1978"JJB's presser, if that dosnt depress you as a Leeds fan, then nothing will.
Without knowing he was refering to a professional sports team, you would think he was talking about an u8's team, some of the 'fixes' mentioned should be the absolute bare minimum for any professional sports person
If what he's saying is right, its an absolute disgrace, our squad of players, coaches and management should be ashamed at the culture they've manifested. The coach of Leeds Rhinos happy that the players finally look bothered they're being embarrassed, happy they're finally trying, happy they're talking and asking questions of each other, happy he THINKS they're going to buy in to the fortnights hard work he's got planned, f**k sake...How have things got so bad that these, what should be, absolute unconditional basics, even in a kids team, be seen as progress in one of the biggest clubs in the country, absolutely pathetic.
When we signed donkeys like Donaldson and Thompson we were fed the lines on how they set standards around training, that they're great role models around the place etc etc, clearly total rubbish, our standards are mickey poor and embarrassing, again, if JJBS presser is correct.
He then finishes with telling us that he's always rated Liam Suttcliffe as a half, my god, please just go coach Stanningley and drop Long off as far away as possible on your way.
Anybody involved in this mess needs to be as far away from headingley as possible, players included.
Sorry for the long rant.'"
exactly re donno and thompson did a job for half a season but no way should have got extensions and part of the dor failings
sutcliffe hasn't been a decent half since he did his knee as when he can't run he certainly can't pass , the best quotes of players that played with holmes are how he could find them with any pass if they ran right-- who could sutcliffe find

| No problem with Donaldson's commitment to the team. He's not even a first choice player and has plenty in front of him. He's probably getting picked because he's the JJB of our current squad!
Thompson on the other hand is more concerning given he's taking a valuable quota space. Unlike Donaldson, I can't think of a game in which Thompson's efforts have resoundingly justified his inclusion in the first 17.

JJB was raving about Thompson in the latest presser!

| Precisely. He’s either telling his true opinion in which case he’s nuts, or he’s fibbing and looks daft in front of everyone.
