Walker and Hurrell in foot braces so both may not make it

Cant see both Ava and Martin starting if they dont land til Wednesday. I actually think Martin will be used as an impact sub for the rest of the season.



Lunt was in a boot yesterday so might not be ready for Fri. As others have said tho he needs to start and Dwyer on bench. Again to add impact.

Agar confirmed that Lunt, Seumanufagai, JJB will be available in the YEP, likely that Martin will be involved as he’s fit and ready. Peteru could play, Walker and Hurrell doubts.

Hopefully Golding as we cant keep moving Sutty around so much. How the hell is he meant to improve if hes playing second row one week stand off the next then full back the next...

Walker's missed a lot of games over 2 years. We need a better reserve than hoping Sutcliffe or Newman can fill in - its too specialised for that. I'd keep Golding if we don't have another specialist.

You do realise that Golding has been unvailable injured for more matches over the last two years?

At the same time? My point is we can't bet everything on having one capable fullback. I get you don't rate Golding, but I'd far rather him than shoehorn Newman or another non-fullback.

I agree with you on the capable cover. I just don't think Golding is the answer. It either has to be a youngster from the reserves set up, or as normally happens utilising a winger or centre who can play various positions, i.e. what I suggested.
