| Thoroughly enjoyed it, not quite what I expected. This is not a rugby league film as such. Focus is more on the inner workings and inter-personal relationships. Parts got me quite emotional. My partner (not a RL fan) even found it really emotional, as well as funny, and I think it has sparked a wider interest in her for the game, or at least the people inside the shirts.
I quite liked that it wasn't game action heavy, but I think more behind-the-scenes footage could have been a nice touch. Actually catching some of the tense moments talked about on camera would have been immense.

| Ask Sinfield, and Peacock for that matter, who the best coach he has ever played under is and he will say McDermott so I wouldn’t read too much in to the film and how it is perceived. Loved it by the way!

The documentary was quite an eye opener for me to be honest. Even McD's biggest apologists may have to admit he doesn't come out of that looking great.

| Watched it on Amazon, thought it was great, seemed a lot shorter than its 1hr37mins, some great insights, I’m not sure BM comes across that badly, he is an interesting character, and a flawed one, but often successful people are, one thing for sure we have all been very lucky to watch that team for the last 15 or so years, got me quite emotional.

McDermott came across as a thoughtful, intelligent man facing the huge challenge of getting the best out of a group which included other strong, intelligent men. And Zak Hardaker.

Fair do's. Interested to hear your thoughts on how he handled Leuluai?

| Personally I don't think anyone came out of it badly and I include Zac.
The viewer is never going to get the inside scoop on everything and there is obviously more to the Sinfield/RU move and the fall out than will ever come out in public.

| FWIW I think it quiet interesting and gives us, not in the know a partial insight and answers to questions raised in the past re Burrow , Sinfield, Lelulia and probabilties about McGuires move to KR. No one comes out of it badly but it certainly shows how stubborn Brian Mc can be.

| I'll start by saying my respect for and admiration of Sir Kevin Sinfield and the part he played in the Golden Generation, remains intact. He was, is and always will be a Leeds legend. But, I did find his comments about writing it all down a little disturbing. It sounded like he had real beef with Mac and his comments about not enjoying his last season and counting down the minutes were, I felt, a little sad. That said he played his heart out when he did get back in the team, which is a testament to his entire approach to his career, THE consummate professional.
