firstly i have more qualifications than you would know what do with but thats not the issue.

i now have a good job with cracking benefits but for years i had a crappy job. thats the reason i started refereeing football. i did 3 hours every monday,tuesday and thursday night, saturday morning and afternoon and sunday.all this while working full time. all to make more money so i could give my family a better life.

you do these things because you have to.

you come up with stunt after stunt and make sure the papers, on here, everywhere see you.

you are, as fat boy says, an attention seeker.

i hope you do get a job.

i hope you get a well paid job and you become a success.

if nothing else so i and others who work have to stop supporting idle spongers.

however i expect more stunts like this in the coming years

I also hope its a success. The lad probably gets more on benefits than my crappy part time wage. (Luckily I get the chance to across the country to earn overtime). I along with the majority on here after pay taxes, and for the likes of people like Damo.



He knows there are jobs at my work, but he his determined to go down this route. Hope he becomes a successful businessman, because I am sure one day he will realise he can't continue getting in the papers, getting publicity and still been on the dole.



Anyway if you do need a job, give me a shout, there are a fair few jobs going around at the minute.

I do indeed. I have probably given you more than £20 in benefits however.



I have told you on more than one occasion I will send you it through internet banking. Appearing at my work and asking for it when I sit in a box with money all day is not the time for me to give you it.

In the time you've been on this board chap, a certain other poster has run around in a dragon costume, washed smelly kit, driven thousands of miles, flown hundreds of hours, packed a good secure job in, learned a new language, learned how to write, raised money for charity, bought and maintained a small business, worked all the hours that God sends and you know what? He's still got time for the odd curry.

A certain poster is an example of what happens when you make things happen for yourself.

You ain't.



In fact I find it very difficult to understand how you have the gall to complain about overcoming adversity on a thread moderated by one of life's true survivors.

Good Luck Damo but that is hardly a ringing endorsement. The guy has zero credibility these days. You'd be better disassociating yourself from him.

Nick Clegg has his flaws I agree like any human being. But he's spent a good proportion of his life trying to make things better as all politicians have.



Thanks for the support ryano but we know most of the comments on here are fuelled by jealousy. I have the potential to do better than all my critics on here put together and damn right I'm going to fulfil it!

The mods have a choice. Clean this thread up so the only thing that’s left is the original post, lock it and put it as a sticky for a week or two. Alternatively you can leave the thread as it is and I’ll show each and every critic of mine up for what they are and will provoke a reaction which will no doubt be enjoyable to read – that could come at the end of the day when I’ve finished doing more important things. Either way I’m sure you’ll come to a right decision even if you decide a third way.



But I’d much rather be on a nicer RLFANS where me and my critics mind each other’s business and stay out of each other’s way. Both Tad and LTID have posted threads about raising money for charity and I could give them a much harder time than what they’ve given me on my ‘make society a better place’ threads in recent times. But I’m not like them two unless I really get provoked.



Finally I’m convinced there’s a deep rooted jealousy by some on here because at least people comment on my threads and some openly support what I’m doing on these same threads alongside all the criticism I get. These two don’t even get that.

I don't know anything about Damo's (un)employment history so I can't really comment on his situation, but someone being on the dole doesn't necessarily make them a sponger, and there being vacancies at a workplace doesn't necessarily mean that an individual will be able to get a job there.



Bearing that in mind it might be worth looking at the article in the YEP.
