| That's my concern with Falloon (as well as wondering why we'd want such an average player). The police - thanks to Karmichael Hunt - identified a bunch of Titans players buying drugs. The thickest of them didn't even think to code their texts. The brighter ones did. Those that didn't code their texts have been charged. Those that did haven't because the prosecution couldn't prove that the codes used related to drugs. I'm not at all sure I'd want any player associated with that group at Leeds.
As for Buttriss, he's even less than average. But I suppose if we're after someone short-term he'd be better than Falloon.

| Here's one for ya Bris! Both NQC hookers are off contract for 2016. With reduced interchange I would try and get either now as I can't see them both getting good deals. Kostjasyn would be most realistic as Granville IMO is their first pick 9 but both are better than any of the Aussie lads we've been linked with so far.

| Leeds were in for McIlorum and McIlorum wasn't aware of it until after he signed his new Wigan contract...

| These Aussie names all seem short term and with burrow also now prob 2 years from retirement should we not also be looking at a good academy product to develop? I thought ward had potential but not sure why he didn't play after aiton got Crocker, was he injured?

| I suspect Ward will have known for some weeks that he wasn't going to be offered a new deal. Whether his attitude/motivation dropped off after that I don't know, but he certainly disappeared off McDermott's radar and down below Lilley in the pecking order pretty quickly.

| I don't see Lilley as a hooker really, though maybe see him fulfilling the burrow utility role - not that he would want to get lumbered with that tag I suspect.
Hopefully the long term hooker role is high on the list.

| Didn't someone mention something about Hunslet players being quite critical of the effort Robbie Ward put in whilst there? If that's true and considering the close connection between the clubs with Eaton's roles at both clubs then Ward really only has himself to blame. Compare it to Keinhorst for example who put the effort in, played a new position whilst there and then was rewarded.

| Last time I saw Robbie Ward up close, he appeared to have put on a little podge - was certainly looking a little plump in the face - might have a touch of the Mcshanes....

Why wouldn't he be aware of it?

| Ward must be kicking himself. I'm not saying we wouldn't still be chasing a new hooker but with aiton leaving then getting injured he had a great shout at playing in a GF and pushing himself forward for a regular place in the 17. What a missed opportunity... Unlike Jimmy as has been said.
