I think most Aussie fans couldn't name [iany[/i SL clubs as their competition is so superior to ours, why the heck would they be bothered? As for the argument about who are the "big teams" in SL, there are genuinely 3 - Wigan, Leeds and Hull. Whatever Wolves are achieving right now is just like the onset of Bull mania in the mid '90's. Here today, (probably) gone tomorrow. "Big clubs" take decades to build a solid fan base.

Really? So, to borrow analogy from another sport, because the Premier League is superior to the Bundesliga, football fans in this country can't name any German clubs?
They might not be bothered about following it and watching it, but I bet most Aussie RL fans could at least name a few English clubs. |
