Did sammut get cited? if anything his looked less intentional than both westwood and bridge. Obviously common tackle technique in Warrington.
If silverwood wasnt in the way he wouldnt get pushed. Besides have you not heared Ryan Bailey does what he wants. I expect the mandatory caution and nothing more

You were doing ok until this.... Are you really suggesting Kirke can adequately take the place of Bailey ?
As others have suggested the poor positional sense of the (experienced) referee should not result in punishment of the players IMO. |

Cannot believe they have been cited for that. A incompetent ref getting in the way. Surly nothing will come of that.
I wonder if it has been picked up or instigated by silver wood in his match report. If the latter further proof he hasn't got over keeef comments after the world club challenge a few years ago!!!!!

But surely if the ref didn't feel it warranted on-field punishments (even as little as a penalty or 10mins) then how can the video panel pick it up? It's not like an incident in a tackle where the ref might be unsighted and quite understandably in a fast game can miss something. For it to be worthy of a trip to Red Hall surely Silverwood must have noticed the incidents. If he did, why didn't he take any action. If he didn't, how can it be worthy of a trip in front of the disciplinary?
It's just bizarre. |

MRP have obviously felt it necessary to bring it up. Doubt Silverwood will have as he would've said something before the play restarting.
That to me says Silverwood knew he was in the wrong.
