Do either GH or McD have enough credit in the bank with recent signings for people to be optimistic on this one?'"
Well considering people have been taking the pi$$ the last 2/3 weeks about the "Plan B" comment saying it'll just be Burrow at hooker then they done ok to get someone at this stage of the season who looks hungry to come here and start, signed long term and is highly thought of. Granted he doesn't come with a large cv or too much known about him but you only have to look at previous NRL recruits at Leeds over the years to know that means little in terms of how well they go here.

He doesn't look a bad signing at all, the Sleeve did have something up there after all. If he can play off slow PTB's and off the back foot as well as going forward then we should be a far better side. Personally I though Segeyaro was not the "livewire" he was initially billed as, lacked real pace. This guy certainly doesn't.

You could probably include Lunt in that point. Which begs the question of why we have such difficulty in rolling our own.

| What do the Australian Based Fans think about him? And not AP, he's in Wetherby.
I've seen him a few times and he seems fast, with a good rugby brain. He backs up well and plays what's in front of him. What is he like defensively up the middle? Segayaro was excellent in that department, and plugs the short coming in our pack.

I have to say all the comments on the footage of him and his speed(i haven't bothered to look myself because youtube made Achurch look like Sironen re incarnated) but not much about his defensive capabilities. hopefully he will be solid in that area.I agree with you regards Segeyaro but one thing he brought was steel and enthusiasm in the middle.
If he is solid in the middle and can provide direction from dummy half then i will be happy enough, anything else is a bonus.

| I just looked at the video link given by the Rhinos and 95% of it was scoring tries - only one clip of his defence really. Think people are raving about his pace and not his defending because the footage doesn't show that and barely even shows his play making.
I am more hopeful though reading the comments of Manly fans (and other NRL teams) as they will have seen more of his defence than any of us.

| never heard of him, but glad we have sorted the vacancy.
I'm pleased he appears to have pace, i think its something weve lacked for a while.
In our prime someone would make a break, and have webb, mcguire and burrow in support. Last season if someone made a break the rest of the team stood there mouth open in amazement

He is very, very quick. And over a distance as well. But if our forwards can't dominate a collision and get a front foot PTB he may as well have his bootlaces tied together.
