I saw Burgess last saturday at Headingley & he was still wearing some type of surgical boot.

I'm not medically qualified but it would seem a risk to me to play him on Friday night.

I also agree that Burrow should come off the bench to spell McShane.

Agree with all of that. Ambler has done enough to keep his place on the bench over Burgess.

Simple then, Ali for Eastwood and Burrow for Buderus, McShane to start, otherwise same as for the Saints game.

Not sure I agree with expecting someone of Burrow's size to put in a hooker's tackling stint in their first game back after injury.

Burrow has started at hooker three times in his Leeds career, once for Daryl Powell in 2003 and twice for Tony Smith in 2004.

it was more an effort to knock the supercilious G1 down a peg or two ....but I really should continue to leave it to the real sage TVOC...who is far more adept and clever in exposing his idiocy.

Everyone has their own opinion but I can't wait to see Robbie in action again and in his proper position. Sinnie and DMc have done fine at halfback but I think we've missed robbies spark and speed/backing up. Can't quiet understand people wanting to play players in different positions, can understand when someone is injured but not otherwise. Also missed those shovel hands of Ali, nothing better on the field than seeing him bursting through or that fantastic offload, just hope he can steer clear of injuries for rest of season.

to be honest i think we have looked better with sinfield and mcguire in the halves. we have missed webb big time. you don't realise how good he is till he's not there
