I like the look of Pitts - his initials at least show a good pedigree.

He has the size to make a good prop, but so did Feather whom we also bought from Wakey I believe.

I think this move with Broughton going the other way is good business for both clubs.

Wind you neck in and open your mind. There are good prospects outside of the Headingley convey belt. He has been a regular in the first team for 2 seasons now and will no doubt develop into a decent player. Disappointed to be losing him but Broughton plus cash seems like a good deal for Trinity.

You've got a decent forward pack but you do need some help in the outside backs, otherwise you'll have to keep picking Sideshow Bob on the wing.

What about Luke Ambler though, signed for us and hasnt played one superleague game this season. Could this be another one of those saga's?

At this moment in time, Ambler isn't better than Leuluai, Peacock, Bailey or Burgess, hence he isn't getting into the first team.



It's debatable whether Pitts would walk straight into the side if he signed tomorrow.



That doesn't make either of them bad signings, given their respective ages.
