You've been posting on here for five years, How many times have my sources been wrong in that time? Twice. Once when Gareth Ellis agreed a deal with Leeds and then again with Burrow to Castleford, which i still believe was a done deal until Leeds found out Aiton wanted out. I'm not the only person that has been posting the rumour regarding Brierley. Look on the saints board and you'll see Magic Superbeetle and St Pete, both very reliable posters have posted it.

I do think Brierley will end up at Leeds at some point, that I've never doubted. I do question the 'way' it's going to happen, the first scenario about Leigh's promotion/non promotion which I doubted turned out to be incorrect just like I thought.

Clearly Leeds require a hooker with Aiton moving on and the coach having seen enough of Ward after 20 minutes at Hull [not really a proper run. The best three hookers in super league are Roby Mciloram and Clark and all three would be great however if they are not available we should look at Boudeska who reminds me of Aiton both in attack and defence and could develop into a star

I am sure nobody disbelieves your story but it is the use of the word "deal" that I object to and by implication that it is a "done deal" in other words no going back on it. In this case it is clear now that there was no binding contract regarding your first story.



Sources (horses, friends and family) should always be asked 'have you/they a signed contract?' If not then rumours should clearly be stated as such.

Yep, it's not a case of thinking the guy is lying or making it up. I just recognised thats their's 3 sides to every transfer saga.....the selling club, the buying club and the player, and a lot of the time you'll get three different version of events if you spoke to each one.



I'm sure if people spoke to John Stones and Saido Berahino during the transfer window that they'd tell you that they were on their way to Chelsea and Spurs.....their clubs would beg to differ.
