I was wondering if you could please spare a moment to clarify a PFU rule?



At a recent game I was involved in a discussion regarding the kicking of the ball by members of your erswhile union. Whilst we all fully agreed that kicking in open play by PFU members can not be tolerated, what is the ruling regarding place kicks? Some people felt this is also a no-go area, whilst others felt it could be excused. One other mention was for this to be allowed, but only if done "straight on", none of this new fangled round the corner nonsense.



I appreciate you are a busy man, but any reply would be most gratefully received.

He's a repeater offender now. I believe he was warned following a game in France where he did something similar.

I can only repeat my request to the committee that they take a dim view of Jeff Lima's involvement in this week's RFL judiciary review.



I usually consider it only appropriate that PFU members be hauled into disciplinary hearings, but not for that....
