As if the Warriors documentary thing wasn't enough evidence, just have a read of Burgess, Williams and Bowen's comments (Rugby league express) in the aftermath of the grand final. Burgess should be heavily fined for his comments about the NON-knock on from McGuire, before banging on about how he'll be back to win EVERYTHING with Wigan. (Whatever kid.) Bowen proves he didn't get enough sleep on Friday by claiming Wigan will win the next 3 grand finals. Williams talking about himself, and how good Wigan will be next year etc. no mention of Leeds and how brilliant we were at closing the game out.



I think it gives a real insight into the mindset of Wigan. They believe that they are the best team, they believed they were heavy favourites, and should have won, but ultimately didn't put the work in. Totally and utterly classless set of people

Also watching KOL in the referees ear as they went down the tunnel at half time seemed such a negative approach. What do they hope to acheive once decisions are made?

In fairness, If the Wigan club can keep the young players they have right now i see no reason why they won't at least feature heavily for the foreseeable future at least and may be able to create their own dynasty. The likes of Powell,Williams,Gildart,Bateman,Manfredi and others added to an always game and hard working pack under Wane with a sprinkling of class with the return of Sam Tomkins. Problem for them is whether they can retain the services of these lads on a long term basis.Joe Burgess has already jumped ship and I'm sure a few of those other young lads are going to be soon on the radar's of NRL clubs. We will see.

That's why I've always disliked Wigan. They believe they are entitled to win everything every year . Look what that did to them last time around.

Every team has idiots but a lot of Wigan fans are just unable to get out of that mentality and congratulate the other team on just being better that day.

Indeed. Bateman and Manfredi are doing well but Williams is class for his age. Just hope Sutcliffe can return from injury without losing too much of his abilities.

I think most fans could see the turning point was when Wigan took the 2 when they had all the momentum and Leeds looked shot and out on their feet. It was Wigan's for the taking and they blew it with a poor poor decision.Simple as that for me.

Absolutely spot on another try for us then and we win the game ,the knock on is one of them debatable ones that some days go for you and other days they don't it's certainly not why we didn't win

Not talking about the fans. It's the players. Brainwashed by Wane rather than coached by him. He could damage players that have a lot of potential. Wane will cost Wigan trophies

Has anyone got a copy of the actual interviews, I'm curious to read for myself. All the interviews post match I've read from both sides have been very complimentary about each other and rightly so as it was a great final.
