| Ryan Hall deserved the Lance Todd for two fantastic individual contributions at vital times. But, in a team performance, the other man who must have been in with a shout but has been much-maligned on here this season (including by me) is the man who did more even than Sinfield this afternoon to organise the team, run the plays, marshall the defence and execute the kicking game. And that's Danny McGuire. He was the main man. Well played.

I thought Danny was mom today and I have been a critic this season but he ran the shoe today. More of the same please.

Yep he got my MOM. As I have said on the other thread no real bad performances. But I have been skeptical of him this year at times but he had a cracker. Thought all our pivots controlled the game well. Also, again as I have said on other tread. Briscoe always gets bagged on here but the back 3 for me offer more than just speed and try scoring. They both cart the ball up with power, win collision, and give the forwards a breather.

| I would have given it to McGuire. However I have no problem with Hall getting it, his overall contribution was excellent as well as his 2 world class trys.
It was a great team performance, and the first 40 minutes was text book final RL. I was a little disappointed we didn't ping a DG over early in the second half but apart from that there wasn't a bad player, even the subs did well when they came on. Hopefully, we can build on this performance and go for the other 2 pots on offer.

Again agree. I am probably being very unfair but I cannot remember kirke much. I remember him getting smashed and driven backwards and I remember one tackle but other than that I can't remember seeing him much. Sure he did more than that just from my memory.
Again I was exspecting Clarke to be a big player for them but for me was third behind rob and even Aiton.

To be fair to 'The Mountain' he did defend well, and smashed a couple of Cas guys in defence, but generally it was a typical Kirke performance. One moment stands out though, and he took the ball in and one of the Cas markers gave him a bit of afters, he seemed to wilt a little bit and couldn't even look the Cas player in the eye. He should have at least given him a Stuart Fielden style glare after he played the ball. He also seemed embarrassed to be lifting the trophy and couldn't pass it on quick enough at the end.
Oh I'm glad you mentioned Aition, I thought he was excellent from the bench, as was Bailey.

Yep he looked good coming on. Again bailey is one I have been critical of this year (justified IMO) but credit where it's due thought he did well today seemed to run in with more purpose than usual and again to the naked eye seemed to make more metre per carry than usual

| McGuire was sensational. Easily MOM in a good team performance. He really wanted that, and you could tell. Great try's from Hall but McGuire just tore them apart.
Anyway can fly back to holiday now.

Agree. I thought McGuire, Burrow, Sinfield & Hardaker were superb. Along with Aiton who added some spark when he came on the players in our key positions really performed. Hall was excellent. Not just in his try scoring but in his runs in our own half too.
