Now that a utility company has got naming rights to the SL will it be easier for Doom and Gloomers like William Eve to finally flick that big switch for our sport off once and for all ?

I would have been surprised if a value had been revealed publicly. The negotiations will have been "commercial in confidence" at every stage.

Actually, thinking about it, on the 'Rhinos Tariff' you'd probably find out that you had run out of gas two thirds of the way through the year, with the old timers who BM persists in playing..!
