Looks like some of our younger lads could be heading south for Loan stints.
I'd like to see how the likes of Minns ,Duckworth ,L.Briscoe would get on but i'd hope we keep Sutcliffe ,Singleton and Foster around the 1st team and get them gametime with us.

Loans to London have worked very well for us in the past. Ironically enough, and a bit of a guess without me checking any dates, I suspect most of those successful loans happened when McD was coaching London. |

Could Leeds also offer some assistance on the coaching front. A good development coach to progress their own juniors into 1st grade is what they need rather than loanees from the heartlands.

Loaning players to London has bitten us on the Harris before today but ultimately I can't see how this is a bad idea.

I can think of two that have worked very well for us. Ablett and BJB. One was under McD. So if most are half, then yes.
Years ago we had two or three excellent young back rowers who went there, and never got a look in on return.
Personally would much rather have our players out loaned playing super league each week, than at Hunslet. Although I am cautious of any young player being around Sean Long. Nice to see if it works for them though, but would prefer to see them at Wakey. |
