Can't blame him if he does. He has been treated abysmally IMO, losing the hooking spot to a guy who is wholly unsuited to the role ( unless from the bench for a shorter duration ) .....and epitomised by spending a whole match uselessly and inexcusably on a bench.

From what I've seen of McShane, Burrow is a better starting option at the moment, that's not me saying Burrow should be the starter. The hooking position is I believe our weak spot.



As for McShane losing the hooking spot, it was never is to lose as he's yet to earn it.



Hope I proved wrong about McShane and he turns out to be Star performer for Leeds.

I myself am surprised he hasn't been given the opportunity to solidify a starting role from round one but I am sure a long hard season will see him get his chances.......he just has to ensure he takes them.

Think its more to do with the fact that Hood could be in front of Mcshane, which in pre-season I would also agree.

That might be ... But then that's surely even more reason to give the lad a starting spot ....at least until Hood is fit again. Why select him to do nothing but sit on a bench for 80 minutes ?

Then this nonsense of using Burrow as a starting hooker definitely has to stop.

Perhaps, unbeknown to us mere mortals who think we're a coach, the coach was doing it for a reason and decided that because the forwards were getting beaten, there was no point risking some of our youngsters that may prove pivotal the following week? Or maybe there's a conspiracy.....
