Hi All



I am new to this site, but want to gauge support from the Rhinos fans for a possible return to Headingley for Matt Adamson.



I have it on very good authority that Matt has been in contact with the club on 3 occasions as he is very concerned about the downturn in the fortunes of the team this season.



He is so upset at the current plight that he has offered his services in any capacity he can be of assistance & will pay his own airfare and work for free.



However Matt is concerned about how he would be received by the Rhinos fans. The club have shown some interest in taking him up on his offer but they too are concerned about how this would be perceived.



As most will be aware Matt has previous coaching experience with Penrith & Catalans and is sure he could help improve matters.







During his playing days with the Rhinos Matt gave his all for the club & was something of a South Stand hero, having played in the 2003 CC Final with a broken cheekbone and he is still passionate about the Leeds club.



How do you feel he would be accepted by the fans ?

I would love to see Matt back at Leeds - and TBH I'd rather have Stevo and Eddie than McMuppet and Piggy Lowes in the coaching roles.



Matt would be a marked improvement.

I'm sure the suggestion of working for free would be of interest to the CEO but only as an opening offer.



It kind of reminds me of Kris Radlinski at Wigan and the Woody Allen character in What's New Pussycat.

If an opportunity at Leeds fails to become a reality, perhaps one might exist at St Helens alongside his former team mate, skipper and coach Royce Simmons?
