Quote sgtwilko="sgtwilko"Now I'm gonna indulge you here Mick inspite of what emma rightly pointed out as your 0/10 trolling attempt.
Basically it's like this. The fact you are having to ask the question would suggest you don't know or don't really think Leeds are in decline.
When a team is in decline you don't have to ask you just know. Take the bulls for example there were no threads on your board asking are the bulls in decline? Because when a teams gone it's obvious for all to see to the point where Bradford arnt even thought of as a big team, the bulls club are seen as a team that would be lucky to make the play offs and it would be a big shock if the bulls got to a final let alone won a trophy. For example the bulls had their worst sl campaign ever in 2010 when bulls fans told us all you were better equipped than the season before to make a charge up the table. that is a team well and truley in it's decline. The same noises are coming out of the bulls club and from the fans that this season is the season when it all changes. I think most of us know the bulls will have a tough task again making the play offs! Why? Because they are a genuine team who are in free fall, especially judgeing last seasons campaign and with the recruitment of players surplus to requirement at their previous clubs, in honesty it's looking like much of the same.
I only really used the bulls mick because the bulls are your team and a great example of a club in decline and going backs at an unstoppable rate. I thought you might understand this better than most as seen as you are living been a fan of a club truley in decline.
When Leeds are in decline you won't need to ask you will know pal.'"
For the record it wasn't a trolling attempt and another thing mate I don't see Bradford as a club in decline for one minute after the fact that we've sold over 10,500 season tickets to press, so how do you view this as an example of a club going into decline at an unstoppable rate?
What are sides like Castleford and Wakefield then?
How many season tickets have Leeds sold so far?
I don't predict big things for us next year, but I do foresee a massive improvement under Mick Potter and Francis Cummings and hence have the potential to be most improved side next season after the last two years where we've seen no playoff action.
We'll have 11 maybe 12 new players all to gel together and would expect narrow losses in the first two games, but as the season goes on and with the side having geld together, I think that we would as a club be in a playoff place and the chance to a strong finish to the season.
I really do think that Leeds will be the biggest under-achievers next year as the decline sets in at Headingley.
