| To Bulls4Champs2010. Bradford were a mighty team like the other 3 hence being able to cherry pick the best youngsters from all areas, like most people, they want to win things and that is mainly possible if you play for a top team, so more of your home growns may have won more rings, shields and cups than us and that is the reason. The top teams have always had the majority of players in the international team.  |

That isnt the challenge, I asked somebody to name a 17 man homegrown Cas team and then I could compare it to a 17 man HG Bulls team from the same period of about 15 years.
Your points of Bradford producing more international players has been duly noted and lends considerable weight to my argument that Bradford have consistently produced better quality players than Castleford since the empahasis of producing HG players a priority in the game.
As for international class recently, Shenton sure. But Westerman? Youre not having that one pal, he played in a exhibition game against Cumbria. And Lynch and Owen never made it down under so thats only 1, not 4 mate. As for Bradford developed players in the squad down under, there was Burgess, Atkins & Fielden who all made it there this time around. So again, the numbers side of my argument is still in my favour here pal.
Bradford also had 2 academy players in the England academy fixture and a third that wasnt selected(G Burgess, O Brian & Southernwood) With the latter 2 expected to get games time and kick on this season.
What would you like to know about Bradfords youth production system. We had 16 HG players in our 1st team squad last season, I dont know how many we'll have this year as it hasnt been released yet, I would imagine it would be a high number as always though.

Yes Mate.....you may have had 16 HG players in your first team last season........................BUT last season you were e, garbage, rubbing rags.......CRAPOLA!! any team can put English youngsters into their squad.............the point is though, ARE THEY ANY GOOD and yours clearly are not!!!! end of thread!!!  |

Anybody else know anything of Chase leaving for Hull? Can't see it happening myself, but his name is being banded about a bit now and is said to be a target of ours.
