I think you're right mate - they tried the bully-boy approach given that we have a relatively young team and it backfired as our lads fronted up and got stuck in. Besides, what's wrong with a tough old-fashioned episode of the greatest game?

Realy cannot understand some of the tripe on this thread, from both sets of fans TBH.



From the match side of things I wonder if some of the posters on here actually saw the game, neither side were that inspiring, Hull looked like a side lacking confidence from not winning games, a lot of very good individual players but very little in the way of good team play, had plenty of ball in Cas's red zone, and failed to do a lot with it. Cas on the other hand were solid but definetly lacking the attacking flair away from Wheldon Rd with ball in hand, that said they always looked like they had points in them, and looked like a team used to winning.



With regards the referee yes he is fairly crap, although I'm sure if you sat and reviewed a video of his decisions you would probably find that most of them were technically correct. Did the referee alow Cas to win? No. Was the penalty count in Cas's favour by any real number? No. Did Hull have enough chances to win? Yes. In the end two fairly well matched teams slugged it out and this time Cas just came out on top. Was there any vile thuggery and underhanded play on show? Not realy in my opinion, this is after all rugby league and is a tough sport played by very tough people at a proffesional level, did Shaun Long lose the plot a bit? Yes, but hey at least he's trying hard and gives a s**t.



As far as some of the Cas posters on here, you realy need to get a grip guys, yes we're playing pretty well at the moment and it feels good to be near the top, but a few of you are posting stuff that you will regret after 20 games and we're 7th or 8th. Keep it real guys, enjoy where we're at, but dont turn into smug to**ers, thats not what we're about.

The fact you feel the need to tell us Agar is the problem.
