Is this part of the planned takeover process for the new owner with the administrators clearing the decks? Or have things just gone from bad to worse? Can things get any worse for Wakey right now?

Relegation and promotion are part of the sport mate (or they were until Redhall made up a new set of rules to suit themselves !!), and there was never any real danger of Cas going out of business. I'm glad you came back up, as I'm sure you'll find most Wakey fans were, 'cos our derby games are the ones that most of us look forward to the most.

However, we are currently in our darkest hour, and will do well to survive our current predicament intact, and as part of the Rugby League family a bit of moral support would be gratefully appreciated, as has been forthcoming from other club's fans (and indeed some of your fans on here



) .

We know that this is our last season in SL, and if we do manage to make it to the end of the season, that this could be the last time we play you for a few years, but if you'd rather have 20 Crusaders fans contributing to your stadium build, than 4,000 Wakey fans, then so be it !!!!

George hasn't gone....Kear hasn't gone....JD went at the end of last season....

I must confess to very dark thoughts about WTW and many of their fans due to our relegations in 2004 and 2006 but I've never come close to wishing for the horrendous situation you now appear to be in. I have stated elsewhere that I would be opposed to Cas signing any Wakey player unless the owners wanted/needed to realise an asset and I would hope that SL clubs would rally round in any way they could for the sake of the game as well as the loyal trinity fans who in the past will have paid at their turnstiles as well as Belle Vues.



Anyway at least you're maintaining a sense of humour because you must be having a laugh when suggesting 4000 of you come to Cas....do that many even turn up for all your home games?
