| Quote barnsley bill="barnsley bill" i cant see Ryan Bailey getting much game time at Leeds, would we want him on loan?'"
1:why can't you see him getting much game time at the Rhinos?
2:What do you class as not much game time?
3:why would we let him go out on loan?
Ryan Bailey is a 4 time GF winner who has played for the club since 2002,a period which has seen the Rhinos reap numerous trophies in the process.
Bailey has also played under the high calibre coaching staff like Tony Smith and Bluey McClennan, seems funny that they seem to like him and spectators that post on these forums don't!
Ryan will again get plenty of game time for the club next season, injuries permitting of course

Nicely pointed out out mate, some folk never realise that brothers can play footy even when your club had both Kevin and Bob Beardmore!

=#8000FFWhy though? There's at least 4 better props at the club already, he really isn't needed at Leeds unless there's injuries.

He will still get plenty of game time, especially in the big games!
Hence why he was picked in 4 grand final winning sides and 1 losing one

| Bailey will play this season its called squad rotation, the coach will have a starting 17, this will be a team he considers to be his strongest squad and if injuries permitting would probably play in the major games, the beauty of having a decent squad is that a player of bailey's calibre will be called upon and because of the side Leeds have wont really look out of place, now compare that luxury of a decent squad and look at ours and you see why we will ALWAYS be a second fiddle side until there is a change of attitudes at Cas. Like it or not Leeds are the team we have to emulate and pass to be the best team in SL and we are way off the mark at the moment.

Like it or not Tigerman I think you need to wake up and smell the roses, the fact is to have a squad of the size and quality of Leeds we need money, this money has to come from either a board/chairman who are prepared to underwrite any debts incurred paying for said squad, or from a dramatically increase in revenue from gate receipts and merchandising. If you look at Leeds attendances and retail turnover that would be around the figures Cas would need to sustain a similar squad.
Now if you are prepared to underwrite any debts the club incurrs putting this new squad together, or alternatively you have a plan to double our fan base I am sure the board would be interested in talking to you, other wise I think you need to have a bit of a reality check.
One final point of note would be the new stadium. We recently got full planning permission to extend our buildings at my place of work, I can assure you it is a long drawn out, costly procedure. The planning itself is 5k along with the architects fees, the planning consultants fees, etc etc, so it is a given that the club is going to be coughing up fairly heafty lumps of cash at fairly regular intervals throughout the course of this year.
As a stand alone buisness all this has to be payed for by the profits that the club has acrued and will make during the year.
So basically when you take all this into consideration where does the money come from to go out and sign all these top quality signings?

Think you may have taken what i have written in the wrong context, i understand all you have said and im not in anyway saying its wrong or do i disagree, my point was to basically back up that Bailey will get game time at Leeds, I dont like the bloke wouldnt want him at Cas. but Johnnys a legend is right Bailey will play and its because of the squad and how its structured and used, why would Leeds want to Loan him out. this is what was being discussed?
The rest is true! Until we get a change in attitude at the club we will allways be second fiddle, because of the points you have highlighted and probably more is why we may never be at a level like Leeds. the Stadium is a matter of opinion, some think it will be built some not, me i can honestly say i'm not filled with confidence about the time its taken to get where we are, i'm not confident in RW as he has shown nothing to make me confident, he speaks a good plan but doesnt really deliver on that plan......or should i say hasnt yet!!!!. doesnt mean i wont or dont support the club.
