Wigan look hot this season apart from the Bradford game. Wigan by a lot.

Well the 2nd half of that game anyway. The 1st half they were good!

On paper, their pack looks beatable but they all seem to have stepped up a gear! Their backs were strong last year, and are just as good this year!



Could someone please clarify: Ainscough is on loan to us for 1 month which has 1 week left, but this was on the condiditon that he didn't play against Wigan. However, as he is still on loan to us, does this also mean that he can't play for Wigan against us this weekend either? If so, will he be in the Cas dugout as a spectator or the Wigan one (as his loan period expires before the next match after Wigan).

If he is training with us this week, you'd think he'd be sticking around. Anyone know whether he is or not?

He trains with Wigan throughout the week, only linking up with you guy's prior to your game.

Surely that doesnt help with his integration with our squad

I know it was the case with his loan at Widnes but he was on a dual contract there not a loan deal like he is at Cas. He also couldn't train all week with Widnes iirc because somebody said they're not fulltime anymore(not sure on that tbh) whereas Castleford are.



I'd be suprised if he's not with Cas all week.

So for the last 2 weeks, TM will have been going up to Ainscough and asking "Soooo..... what did you do in training this week? Learn any new set plays?"



Of course we would never use that info though would we.

My claim is backed up by a comment below the article on the Wigan today site.

He is at Wigan Monday to Wednesday so i am told going over to Cas on a Thursday Morning if they have a Friday game if not he travels over on a Friday Morning. So i am informed Also his loan spell should be extended with you on a month to month bases he is possibly with you all season unless we need him back.

That's ridiculous



How the hell is he meant to gel with our team and learn how we play (although he will probably benefit more from Wigan!!) if he isn't with us during training



Once again stupidity reigns at Cas!!
