| It's been on the cards for a while now.
As for human error, who writes that sort of thing on a player's bio 'by accident'?

| There is no defending Cas again, were a club run worse than any of the amature clubs around us.
People can't go on defending RW after the 30th when RW has again failed on a promise, If the ground is sold by the 30th then I will retract and hail RW as the messiah.
The line is in the sand Richard (yes i cried wolf ) Wright its up to you to produce

| Posted elsewhere, but here goes:
I am not sure what people expect at times. If you look at the current crop:
Owen, Thompson, Clare, Arundel, Huby, Massey, Holmes, Atkinson made debut, Davies, Brierly probably, Milner, Clarke, Walker are all young players who have developped here. (Owen may be out of form, but he is still the one from 2 years ago, some are young, but thats OK)
Add to that Shenton and Westerman who for various reasons were acceptable departures - I don't think that Eden and the alledged and assumed departure of Arundel to Hull qualifies as an exodus.
In the same period we have obtained Chase, Dixon, Griffin, Mitchell potentially who are young players who had options and have big improvement in them, not to mention the next batch in the 20's as yet out of our headlines.
It would be nice to keep them all - agree, but could it be that Westy is in his ear, they are pals and the player himself wants to play with his mates or wants to wring more dollars out somewhere? Would I rather he stayed yes, but he ain't Mark Gasnier and on the whole we have been ahead.
Yeah that kid went to Hull KR and is OK, but we have OK. Gledhill went to Wakey, again, OK, but I wouldn't swap Massey for him.
Weird how things get a head of steam and get a proper furore going on here. I think people are getting way too giddy about one lad.
The web site thing is tricky, if someone did it maliciously, we should sack them, I would consider that misconduct likely to cause loss or damage to the business. That'll need to be in private.

Again the buck stops with the CEO, if the club were run correctly the only people with the password would be the marketing team. These people would need to get any changes to the website signed off by the CEO before they implemented them.
Trust me this is how it works in the real world with real companys, if said person has made a change without authority then appropriate action should be taken. This would be done behind closed doors

| Heard this ages ago. Would not surprise me. Although in all honesty, he hasn't played much this season, and really hasn't been missed

| We've definitely missed a centre this year. Arundel is way better then using dixon there.

TBF I think Dixon has done a good job.
Griffin on the other hand has been absolute gash, I still don't understand how he even makes the 19 let alone a starting place!

Disagree completely as it happens - The MD (Equiv position) of my company and the Chairman don't sign off technical and detailed level changes like that, you have operational management for that and at that level those guys have to be accountable for detailed level changes.
Short sighted view - that's like saying it is the pilot's fault or Richard Branson's fault that a Stewardess called me a pillock and spilled a drink on me on a Virgin flight? Neither of those people, though both senior and operationally in charge of the experience and person in question are their line managers appoint or vet them.
The only thing I agree with is that if someone has ventured off piste, then it is an internal disciplinary matter.

| As an outsider looking in, Cas aren't (on the Admin/management side) a big company, as aren't Wakefield.
There will be very few people full time at the middle to top end of the Hierarchy's on a day to day basis i would imagine. RW is probably where the buck rests, as would JE be at wakey.
In a big company it is very easy for the top man not to be culpable, what with levels of middle management, but i don't think that affects clubs such as ours.
As with most, the top men only like being the top man when there being lauded, not when something isn't quite so fluffy!!!

| Whether this is true or not, the site has obviously been hacked. The line about this on Arundel's profile was in a different sized font. This was probably cut and pasted from somewhere else. All you need to hack a site is the URL of the back-end and the log-in details. Most 'hackers' just keep guessing until they get it right or trick someone into giving them the details. Similar to the phone hacking going on recently.
