| If the key players stay injury free, if the new players settle in quickly and we develop a structured attack we could pinch 8th.

| I'm optimistic about the challenge cup every year so no change there. Realistically I don't think we have enough quality to make the 8 and are part of the bunch between 9-12. if we're in the mix for the 8 with a week or two to go then 9th or 10th is a realistic and acceptable finish iny opinion.

| I think we will finish 9th/10th
I'm looking for a different mentality in our defending.
If we can scored tries like we did last season and our defence is tighter, I think 9th is reasonable.

| 9th or 10th for me.
We should finish well above:-
Bulls (financial mess keeps getting bigger and bigger)
Wakey (skinny squad)
London (I still have doubts about London making the starting line)
We should be in the mix with Widnes and possibly $al£ord.

| 7th to 10th will do for me. Below 10th will be a big dissapointment.

| I'd like 10th - I think we underperformed last year and a season of the same ilk will most definitely see us getting relegated.
We took 3 points from a possible 8 of the teams below us, and that won't be good enough this year.
We need to take 4 from london, a minimum of 4 from Wakefield (out of 6 including Magic Weekend) and at least 2 from Bulls, Widnes and HKR
That'd give us 14 points as a benchmark, and I think 18 will be enough to stay up this year (considering London would shock if they registered 5 wins, Bradford might end up the same but who knows, and wakefield will struggle to get 10 wins if they rack up 5/6 injuries at once)
We are right in this dog-fight and don't for a second consider otherwise - although the potential of this squad is for an 8th place finish, certainly

Spot on there Dave, I'm not as convinced with Salford as a lot of people are, if Smith and Chase don't fire or get injured I think they'll be very average.

You could say that about any player in any team in Super League, what if Matty Smith doesn't fire next year or Johnny Lomax? Will wigan and Saints be very average, your forgetting Rangi will have a lot more quality around him at Salford unlike being a one man team at Cas, he'll have a lot more options and better players taking the load in my opinion.

Like he does for England? You tend to find his impact drops off when he's put into the teams system rather than a team built around him and I can't see Noble letting him have as much free reign as he did at Cas.
