| I thought Fax in the first half should have had a bigger lead than 6 points,Leigh didn't really threaten your line in the first 40, again it seemed a forwards game and our full time fitness told, there were very few clean breaks made by other sides during the full 80, but a wins a win , I admit I was worried for 3/4 of the match.
Leigh looked at times very disjointed ,but even not playing well you didn't beat us, we have now played 6 games and for me haven't impressed me ,when things do go right, and we get some of our injured players back some team will kop a good hiding.
Fax are now 8th with games against Bradford and Fev approaching a 33% win ratio isn't impressive , but it's early days .
It was good to see Halifaxjohn and Bentleyman , always is.Charlie.

| I forgot about Potts, there's another good 'un there, but I don't think we should have a go at Jonno. First chance back at half-back for a while and whilst he didn't really excel today, he was doing his utmost. He has a fine grubber in him, but that was only seen a couple of times. Leigh were too big, strong and wily to buy his side-steps - this is where RM needs to coach a potentially great player to adapt when "plan A" isn't working.
Murrell? He might have steadied the ship today, but this hadn't happened in games before now, so not sure?
Btw, Miles was fantastic given this was his first game back!!! What he needs is the halves feeding him that succulent pass that Shad scored so many tries from when he joined the line.

| I thought Greenwood and Tangata were fantastic for you today. Tangata was everywhere and Miles didn't look like a man who hadn't played a match for 12 months.

| Quote Fax4Life="Fax4Life"Yer another one that got away sadly, we more than matched Leigh for 60 minutes but some poor discipline and easy ball for Leigh cost us - again!
They scored a couple of surprisingly easy tries where our defence had been terrific for most of the game which was disappointing, yes the lads who came in did okay especially Tommy and Miles who looked rock solid at fullback. Jonno didn't get much today but thought Gareth Moore did well, I think we need some speed in the backs and if there is any spare cash after Divo leaving we should look to sign a fast winger.
Good crowd considering they did not bring as many as they did last year and the fans really got behind the lads so disappointing but a ray of light after today.'"
x 2 and saves me some typing.

| Pleased with the performance today despite another loss. Thought Miles had a very solid game great to see him back was like a brand new signing and hopefully will cement his place in the team at 1! tangata was immense again and mitch had a better game but still not hit his straps yet sure it will come. Another one that really got away but they did step up a gear last 20 even if a few poor tackles for last 2 tries but I suppose thats what Higham is good at scooting over he still has it in him. Emmitt was also outstanding for them gave great go forward even when struggling. I really think regarding top 4 we desperately need to string some results together like last year including maybe bradford at home we have it in us Come on Fax!!!

| Disappointing result as we were on top for 60 minutes in my opinion. Need to weigh in with more points than 2 tries for all that pressure. Not sure why Fairbank wasn't playing but I thought we missed him, Adam Robbo for me adds nothing. I honestly thought the game turned on their second try, think it was Lee Smith, my instant reaction was that there was an obvious obstruction in our line by a Leigh player that gave Smith a half yard. Will have to wait and see the replay but Leigh got on a roll after that and we looked spent. If we had been given a penalty then the momentum might not have shifted. All if and buts though and fair play to Leigh for sticking at it. Thought Tangata had another good game and also Saxton and Miles did well on their return to the side. No need to panic but we really do need to stop the rot.

| Thought we went well for 60 minutes and a couple of crucial plays turned the game. Can't fault effort and as been said great to se Miles back.
Last season after 6 games we had 6 points having lost to Leigh, Fev and London, but had beaten Batley away, so let's not get too paranoid, it's still early days. Keep the Faith.

I was thinking the same myself - this time last year we were still enduring the Alex Brown episode. I think we are nearly there and hopefully we will hit our sweet spot soon. I think we all hoped we would kick on from where we left off but not sure how realistic this was. Someone said that 5 of our lads had to have operations in the off season so think that will have had some impact. It was great to see Miles looking so strong and good to have Tommy back - although he isn't that fast now , his grit and experience are really valuable. We could have done with him for the Batley game.
We still have Potts to return, Tyrer said on Facebook that he should be back soon and is looking good. There is still Grix too but not sure whether the intention is for him to play or just coach.
We could just do with a win now to build confidence

| It was Richard Moore that shot out of the line and took the dummy, just like he did against Batley that lead to their second try. I think a few brain fart moments cost us. Why do we charge the ball down, how often to you gain something from it. The 2nd one led to them getting field position for their second try. Why, when we managed to steal the ball back near our own line do we try to an impossible off-load and give it straight back. And a couple of soft penalties on last tackles.
But also a game of fine margins, if Saxton gets his hand to the ball, we are 3 scores up. Mile's gets to the kick through and we go back in front.
And I don't think Johhno actually worked that well at 6/7. We seemed very disorganised down the right hand side, I don't think he steps well on that side and the only decent pass we made down that side is when Moore switched across and put Tangata in. Plus we had less kicking options in open field meaning all the pressure is on Moore (who I thought had another good game).
