I also think the police know who it is but without the Crown prosecution service agreeing to prosecute nothing can be done, I know the man who was attacked on water lane 2 years ago who suffered brain damage as a result, the police know exactly who did it and arrested him, Again due to the CPS they basically said it was unlikly to get a custodial sentence and so the CPS dropped it. Garys life has never been the same but the scumbag allowed to carry on with life. Unfortunalty in life these things happen. I am sure David would not want Fans of both clubs at each others throats especially when non doubt the good fans of fev, had nothing to do with it.

I'm sure, nae positive, we have a group of Fax fans at the back of the South Stand who have constantly been sighted for throwing things, being racist and in one case trying to start something with Widnes fans in the car park who come to 'bigger' games yet Halifax have done f**k all about it and they still go. I literally cannot believe that Fax fans are still wound up with the ENTIRE Fev Club because some ed yobs beat up a Fax fan and a few more local yobs are hiding his identity, non of which probably go to the games anyway.



By not going to the Semi you aren't helping your own Club both financially and in terms of vital support to get us into a Final. Reaching a Final should be one of the best moment you can get as a sports fan and most of you lot are going to miss it based on very little.



No one likes Fev, their own residents probably thinks it's a sh**ehole

but as a match day experience it is no worse that a number of Clubs we've all been to, and will go to, plenty of times. If you feel your safety is at risk, bring a pool ball in a sock or a flare.



Plus these thread don't help and should be locked straight away (well these types of comments, it was a normal thread asking a normal question to be right). If you don't want to go keep it to yourself, putting escalated terror on a public forum isn't going to help bring potential floaters.

Not true! The police have been repeatedly told the names of the aggressors. Building a case that would convict is another matter.

Thanks for asking, no i won't be going on Thursday as it is the cricket season and my son has a match and i'm the taxi driver. Thursday games for Fax cause me loads of issues and also for my son as he ballboys.

Hope it's a good game and we come out on top in the end.
