Looking at their fixtures, they play at home to Wigan on Thursday 23rd so I'm guessing they wanted the extra days but it will significantly impact on the crowd!

Rugby was and should be played on a Saturday as it was when i started watching . That is apart from apart from a game on Xmas day followed quickly by one on Boxing Day. Quite a few supporters never went again on Sunday.
Said slightly tongue in cheek , i am almost used to Sunday Rugby now.
