not only forward but the dewsbury player had his foot on the flag pole before he grounded the ball,

| FWIW I think for the 1st time in months we had the rub of the green from the officials especially in the 1st half. But noticed when Fax decided to step up to the challenge in the 2nd half (when you showed you were far too good for us) then the focus and bad mouthing of the officials fell away greatly.
Disappointed with the result as I thought we might catch you napping today (which it looked that way initially) but well played Fax.

| My mate called me childish for having a go at the officials.
I nearly choked on my lego.

| Well at least no-one who should know better like, say, a responsible, long serving, well respected volunteer at the Club had a go at the referee after the game with his 'official' pass on full view so that the referee could get his name for the purposes of reporting him!
Did they?

| I thought some of his decisions were frustrating but Fax fans always seem to forget that we get penalised several times for the same thing. If you know a certain referee (or touch judges for that matter) will penalise for offside even if it is marginal, you stay ONSIDE. If you know a ref is going to penalise for messing around at the play the ball, you don't mess around at the play the ball. Fax don't seem to grasp that idea and were guilty of the same offences over and over again yesterday.

Which is fair enough if the other side are getting penalised for the same thing, on Sunday they were constantly offside and messing around at the play the ball which the werent getting penalised.Thats why the players and the fans were getting frustrated.

| for what iits worth, i think the refs in Rugby league have the most difficult job, Rugby is a game played on the edge of the rules all the time, with the pace and high impact of players, the speed in which decisions need to be made, it is the most un wanted role i can think off, no matter what you do u cannot please anybody!
with regard to yesterday, a few decisions he made were baffeling, he penalised for challenging for the ball in mid air, was pedantic at 20 meter taps, becasue he was not ready, on one occasion he blew his whitle 4 times to restart the match, so many infact i though he was playing "name that tune!"
however all this said, he did not effect the overall outcome of the game and fax took the points from a strong looking dewsbury side, they obvously had a game plan and stuck to it in the first half, the pace from both sides was good, according to WJ they did not stick to it in the second and that was their downfall!
i though, Larder and Ostick ran hard and straigh in the second half, and backy looked elusive with ball in hand, the differance on the day
bring on Fev

| I think that we may have persuaded the referee from officially reporting said volunteer.
As I said afterwards the going rate is about £150 if you end up on a charge at Red Hall.....

| nothing can ever beat the refs being escorted off the field at craven park, the tunnel used to be caged in, i have never seen such abuse from fans towards another human, it was horific!
I did notice that the ref got an escot off at half and full time on Sunday. the joys of the new stand sitting behind the dug outs, no posts.... a vast improvment

You sure it wasn't the Boulevard? If not, then Hull must have been hell for the refs.
