Once again a great deal of effort and superb first 40 mins with Morrell controlling the game with a superb kicking game built on the back of another good display from our pack, who have not been outclassed by any pack I have seen yet. We need to get another playmaker to support Morrell as too much reliance on him for the full 80. When he is a little off it, or worse still injured, we have nothing to offer as plan B. We also lack that cutting edge in the middle backs. looks to me that Saxton will be given another shot to hold down a wing spot( I see Rob is ripping up trees at Shefield!). Bulls class and £500k difference in salary capability was just enough to see them through. Brilliant support and noise from the Fax faithful. We are on the wrong side played , won, lost but to be fair we have played Leigh, Bulls, Fev,London now and just need to make the most of playing the lower teams-especially points difference as that will help us finish higher than our current league position of 7th.The league table never lies and we are at where we deserve to be at the moment. still plenty games left including Bulls at Blackpool!

We needed to post more points in the first half when we were well on top but again we just lack something in the backs and as LTD says its another game where our pack came out on top. We took wrong options in the first half to spurn chances and then Bradford hit us very quickly in the 2nd half and that was that. If we could have weathered the storm for 15 minutes in the 2nd half we would have won that game. That said it was a brilliant effort against a full time team and with a bit of luck as daft as it seems we could have won all our games this season. Agreed with what people are saying about Brown, he has been very poor and needs to up his game. He is fine if the ball is in his hands but getting it there is difficult and his kick defence is poor. Unfortunatley it doesn't look like Saxton will play any time soon if at all so we need to bring someone in to put him under pressure. Potts has been very good again and does what is needed when he comes in to the team.



I thought Salty was class again and has easily been the success story of our season. I thought Heaton went very well, he will get better, Murrell was class for the most part, we need him in the team. I would take 17 of him every single day of the week. Johnston will learn a lot for him but he just needs a bit of help at the moment but I can see Johnston becoming a good player at this level he just needs to learn to take the team around the park as good as someone like Murrell. Pack was awesome again, I thought Calahane had his best game for us and the rest kept up to the standards they have set all year.

Well that first half just has to be the best performance from a Halifax side since winning the championship grand final . It was hard to see who were the full time team, but it told in the second half , Great effort though, if we can cut out the silly penalties and add a couple of class players,especially a good allround winger i believe we will start to win the big games .
