Watching the highlights back online, the Whitehaven defence is absolutely woeful, cant remember seeing a side with such an inability to complete a tackle.

As I say, Im not being negative, just asking for perspective, we were very good, but they were awful.

Don't consider your honest appraisal negative but, you can only play what's in front of you.

In the second half Tyrer and Sharp bombed two certain tries, at least 8 more points.

With it been the first game its hard to see where both teams are at. Maybe we were just a total class above Haven and they will turn out to be not bad this season or like you say they were woeful and we had nothing to beat. Friday should give us a better indicator and we have to try and put right the wrongs of last year at Sheffield.
