I bought mine, my dad's and a junior for my lad first week in January, numbers were 320 then which isn't great at all I have to say. Then a week later but one get one free or something for games if you attended Italy vs tonga, straight away onto a loser as I knew I would miss at least one game due to being away. Defo would have been cheaper to pay as you go for us.

That's the way it is John , although my youngest Daughter who is 18 , has said she is going to come to a few games next season .

Charlie, how will we recognise her?

Will it be the big shoes, the red nose, the spinning bow tie, or perhaps the bowl of custard?

I do =#0000FFunderstand your point and I know many people who say the same, but, a season ticket bought early gives the club much needed revenue up front, it must be hard to budget if they don't know how many people are going to turn up for each game.

The problem with pay as you go is that sometimes you don't fancy a match, lets say Swinton at home so you don't go, lost revenue!

Personally when buying a season ticket I don't work out, is it better value than if I wait, and if there is better value later tuff t"t.

A season ticket helps the club budget.

a Rose on her thigh , im not a fan of tattooes , but that's teenagers for you , a few years ago she shocked the Mick Martyn Bar crowd ,by singing the Flute Song

I've had a season ticket for as long as I can remember (a long time!), but it does get a bit annoying when ticket deals start appearing. I'm happy to support the club by buying a season ticket, and enjoy the bonus of the one-off pre-match meal, but it would be good if the club found something that only season ticket holders got (costs little, but money can't buy). In the past (SL days), my kids got hand-delivered (yes, really!) birthday cards from the club - it made it feel "special".

As an indicator my work colleague bought her season ticket

on Friday number 436.She buys at same time each year and her

ticket number last year was 603--looks like we are 30% down.

I still can't beleive there is no NR cup this year--it's an absolute

disgrace.

So what's the Northern Rail Cup got to do with season tickets?

Maybe not directly linked but when i was a season ticket holder im sure

you got NRC group games thrown in with ticket.The northern rail added

gloss and perhaps a trip to Blackpool to a season where there is otherwise little to play for.

The scrapping of NRC was final straw for a couple of fans ive known since early 90s,sadly

maybe never to return.
