Its gonna be a long 5 days, and i fear that its going to be incredibly difficult and subjective to lose 2 teams to different criteria, which we may require if we are to have any chance.

My only hope is that they put either stadia or finances at a higher priority, only Wakefield seem to fall down on both currently.



But I am encouraged by a change in retoric being used in the media and by the RFL, i am slightly nervous though that we have heard all this before. A few of the Clubs in SL are not just in Last Chance Saloon but have drank it dry and brought their own.



What price a 'Really really really, this is your absolute very last chance' statement next week.

Your bid seems stronger than Wakey, Harlequins, HKR and Crusaders to name a few but I fear the SL will just lose 1 club, probably Wakey though it should be Harlequins who have had about 30 chanches and as many millions to keep them playing.

. . . and in that regard, that will be Halifax's main complaint if they don't get a license. "How can clubs who have gone into administration during the term still be handed a license"?

The RFL didnt change the rules mid season just so they could kick the Crusaders out, they changed them so that they could keep the Crusaders in without appearing to break their own rules. Pathetic really the lengths they will go to so they can say expansion is working.



The funny thing is that if they pumped the same amount of money they have pumped in to Quinns in to a team like Fax they would have a team competing in the top 6 every seson instead of one just making up the numbers.

I forgot about that. Championship clubs couldn't apply if they went into admin but SL clubs could.

I have to admit my stance is changing, from information I had several weeks ago it was a definite non starter but I hear we have a very good chance of achieving SL status. Be nice to have to eat my words come Tuesday!!
