Obvious to everyone about 3 games in to the season apart from MC. Funny also to hear Ryan Clayton saying that he is out of favour with the coach. Already? Not a drinker then Ryan?Another to critisize coaching methods? I guess we wont be seeing much of him this season then lol.



Its going to be a long season. We will struggle to make the six and more than likely will be in the dog fight at the bottom. What a turnaround.

He could always spend some time in the 23's and find some form & work harder. Has he played well at all this season ?

Has he played at all? Never noticed him when he did and you have to question what MC saw in him to make him sign him.

Surely Clayton can't be that bad? He was very good for Cas when they were last in this league, and held down a SL squad place for the last two season. A guy with that track record should be at least half decent at this level.

The leagues just play so differently. I think you can get away been a mobile forward in SL but i think Claytons problem is that he has never really been good enough for Centre and he isnt big enough to play second row in this league. Hes inefective when it comes to going forward but he isnt the only player in our pack guilty of that.

So how many Penatiles did Gannon give away yesterday! ......... from memory none, i find it amazing that this penalty machine tag has been attached to Gannon, nothing like getting behind our own players is there!



i remember one "Paul Davidson" now he was a penalty machine, and by christ did we love him!

I feel we are 1, maybe 2 depending on Barlow's form, forward shy of a good team. Only Aizue ever looks like busting through the first tackle and dragging defenders in.



Cherryholme defends well and takes the ball up plenty but dies the moment a defender touches him. Gannon slightly better but not a patch on Makali.

I'd bring in two new props and cancel this DR agreement thing, nothing against Fairbank i'm just not a big fan of the system at all. Gannons is not the player he used to be, but his experience could be vital to younger players.



Definitely worth looking up into Super League from looking at some of the past players we've signed like Kopzack, Matty James and Maloney. All i know is we are not going to do anything this year with the pack the way it is.

I might be wrong, but I dont think Dom had anything other than a trial set-up for the bears. I cant see him listed on the web.

Jim Gannon puts so much work in in defence. He gives away the odd penalty but without him up the middle Leigh would have run amok. He is one who can actually defend the line from big forwards.
