I think we've a great chance because Widnes are so down on confidence on an horrendous losing run, but they're still favourites being the full time SL team, the bookies are giving Fax 14 start. Oh wouldn't it be GRRRRREAT if we sent them down though, they shouldn't be in SL they only got there 'cos of dodgy franchise system.

The lads deserve a win after all the effort they have put in for no reward in the 8's so far. It would be great to get a win on TV and also consign Widnes to relegation and also give us a chance to not finish bottom and get some extra funding. Fingers crossed.

As a Widnes season ticket holder for over 25 years, let me tell you that you will never have a better chance of beating this shower of frauds than now! The sooner you lot put us out of our misery the better.

From a neutral perspective, an enjoyable game. Thought Halifax competed well, but Widnes had the edge by getting the ball out wide with good finishing. Halifax's pack weren't dominated and put in a good shift, and will be a great foundation to build on for the future. Lyons looks a good prospect for Widnes, and Ah Van and Inu were difficult to stop given any space to work with. Score flattered Widnes a tad, but they were worthy winners over the 80 mins.

Not a lot between the teams to be honest . A running half back for next year that causes the opposition to pause and with the young guns gaining in experience I don't think the team will be far off exit year We might not like dual reg but will maher has put in a very good shift this year .
