Leigh have just signed Ben Jeffries on a 2 year deal. That's not a bad signing.

Can you imagine the build-up to that being announced if he was signing for Fax???

Cant say I would be that impressed if Fax had signed him. He was clearly way past his best a couple of years since so bit of an odd one really. Its probably for Brierley leaving as there really arnt that many decent half backs available.

The're not happy over there but I'm sure Charlie will be over to let us know all about it.

We are Divided in our opinions of Ben Jeffries coming to Leigh , myself im not sure I have predicted we will sign around 4 quality players before next season starts , this signing has surprised me

.I don't think Ryan Brierley will leave next year , my friend Marwan has enough cover next season , but Ryan will end up at Salford

We need a Quality winger and centre , and maybe a running second row to complete next years squad .



Its not all doom and gloom at the Shay though , second spot seems yours for the taking , you seem to be OK at the moment , though Sundays trip to Batley wont be easy , your defing game will be Fev at the Shay , you all know I like FAX

and Halifaxjohn and Littlerich have promised to do a guest spot at the Tower , during the Summer Bash week-end .

It would be interesting to find out who the competition for his signature was from. On various sources Leigh have stated that Jeffries had loads of offers and they had to work hard to secure his signature.

Also Johnny Walker has signed for Leigh after being released form HKR.
