| This could spell the end for many clubs. Who's going to bother with season tickets in future years which will see even the most loyal supporters begin to pick and choose their games? RL RIP

| It was inevitable and in reality there was no other option. There is a very distinct possibility that some clubs may go to the wall. As supporters of Halifax RLFC, one of the most famous clubs in the world, we must do all we can to ensure that ours is not one of them. Up The Fax!

Totally agree. It’s down to all true supporters to help our club survive.
What about this £250k prize competition. Voluntary? Won’t all the clubs want to be in a comp with that amount of prize money. But the RfL say “ and there will be a detailed application process requiring clubs to prove their ability to meet the necessary protocols and medical standards.” so the RFL can actually pick and choose who is in the competition. I know that things are difficult but I don’t trust the RFL. Sorry but I don’t. I always feel they would take every opportunity to get rid of the lower leagues but retain the clubs they want back into SL
Up the Fax and let’s get behind our club !

| Only decision really no crowds =no money under super league. Struggling to see a survival route for the club if I am honest with its current business structure playing at the shay with no other revenue streams . Blank page time again and think outside the box for a survival route .many players might suddenly have a different view today so might be a good time for a foot on the football moment assess and review . Really feel for the CEO who will have to reassess everything yet again . Let's hope with professional assistance because I can't think of a more difficult position that anyone has previously had to deal with to keep the club alive

| What’s happened to the money that the RFL got from the government?

| Bottom line is the club wouldn’t survive playing behind closed doors with no income to pay players. No championship club could.
With regards the autumn tournament - absolutely the RFL could pick and choose who they want in it. They may as well award the prize money to their preferred club now.
The government is not a grant. It’s a loan that clubs would have to pay back. No club has applied for it.
The farce of the Wolfpack is an embarrassment. But they’ve ensured their SL place I feel, as well as the championship and promotion and relegation being cancelled.
Don’t say a told you so about the Wolfpack - you’re a flatcapper, even though no league in the structure wants them.
What a mess. I give RL five years tops as a fully pro sport unless we get new RFL and soon

| Surely even the RFL/SL couldn't cook up a reason to keep Toronto in SL?

Still available to any club who wants to apply for a chunk of it (not sure if any actually have although Leeds were talking about doing). Remember though that it's a loan, can't be used for paying wages and has to be repaid It's not free money

| It's time for the rugby league clubs to have a total restructure or else face extinction. For a start they MUST reduce the entrance to a tenner.
There isn't a cat in hells chance of attracting new fans at the current charge and crowds will continue to fall as we all die off.

| Agreed I am one of those just about lost to the game.when we arrived at the shay 97(?) there was a group of 15 of us. Last season i was the last man standing after the Marshall sacking removed 3 more of us.hard to motivate yourself to go on your own .
