As I posted last night our last eight games against Whitehaven have resulted in seven wins to us one to Haven.

Interestingly the one we lost was at the Shay. (I remember it well

)

220 points difference to Fax. No not next week.

Interesting to see how our Aussies will play, if they think it's been cold till now they may be in for a shock nest Sunday.

Whitehaven this evening have accepted the resignation of their coach Steve Deakin for personal reasons.

Whatever the reasons, I wish him well.

Never an easy game when you go up to Cumbria. It's also worth a note of caution we might be a little underdone having only had 2 trial games. However, looking across the whole squad and likely 17 we should have a little more class in there if things get a little close for comfort. Fax to sneak it by 6. LTD, Whitehaven's ground is the culinary delight that I believe Mrs LTD will enjoy.

Park just outside the entrance to the ground and walk up Whitehaven Way, towards the ground, there is a bar on your right which serves beer at exceptionally low prices, crisps but regrettably no pork scratchings, as you leave there, the turnstiles are on your left, but just to your right there is a burger bar.

Unfortunately no chips. Buy Mrs LTD a burger, and when you get into the ground on the right there is a chip van,

If she has saved her burger, then she has the culinary delight of burger and chips.

I can see a comfortable Fax victory by around 20 points. Whitehaven aren't the force they once were and their coach has just left which will undoubtedly cause some unrest.
