In a tribute to the SL clubs that had me rolling in the aisles. Here's one, tailored for us wot I just wrote to the tune of Annie's song.

just so you know I don't take it personally particulary when expressing opinions and you know I certainly don't agree with your postings, but I gotta hand it to you , you are pretty cool when it comes to knocking out new lyrics and songs.

As regards some of my more personal statements, I do apologise. I am quick to react and migrate regularly from the moral high ground to the gutter and back, occasionally making statements I later regret.



I am happy to agree to disagree on certain matters, because we do agree that we want the Scorps to be a success. As such I'll TRY and moderate my responses.



The song lyrics thing comes easily to me. I'm no Lennon or McCartney, but I enjoy writing and the discipline of writing rhyming and scanning prose.



I've wanted our own version of Annie's song ever since I heard St Helens' version, but the ex-club already had established songs and the BA didn't seem too bothered about having any new ones that didn't come from Andy (enjoyabel though his were).

THIS time we will, I assure you.

As a neutral (Bulls fan from Newcastle), I can really see the stance Grendal has taken. A side he followed through the promotions and disaster that was last year has been taken away from him. The same happened with Gateshead Thunder when it became Hull FC in 1999 (incidently Gateshead becomming Hull involved the same distance for its former fans to travel, it alienated the fanbase it really had started to build up).



I can only hope this South Wales side has more direction to it, as if Rugby League in South Wales was a good idea in '08, then it still is now. And no-one has ever answered my question of when excatly North Wales became a strategic area for Rugby League.
