iPhones aren't good phones. they are a great piece of gadgetory, but the phone element of it isn't as good as a nokia i had 6 years ago. Battery life is crap and reception is poor. That being said, I wouldn't swap mine for a gold pig. |

Would not bother really
1. Uses Android 1.6 - this is a bit old as 2.2 has just been released.
2. Small amount of RAM - now if this works the same as other android phones then that is not a lot of room for installing apps. It has a SD Card, but untill 2.2 is rolled out, there is no way to install apps to the SD Card unless you root the phone.
3. Its fecking HUGE, it would remind me of the phone used on jackass... HELLO, IM ON THE TUBE. |

I plan on looking at the HTC desire. I'll ask again, having had numerous problems with CPW, i'm looking to go direct with Orange when the contract runs out in July, will i need to go through the usual guff or will they do it with just an old bill infront of them?

Dont go with Orange, they stick shed loads of apps that cant be removed unless you root the phone (Which voids the warrenty). Your better off with a CPW version as that is a unbranded phone.

I am approaching the end of my contract (23/7). Is the Desire badly branded by any other providers? I want to cut out the middle men (CPW) and go direct with a supplier if at all possible. |

I have it on Voda, the only bit of branding is a scene, although this is just a renamed version of another scene. There are no logo's or applications installed by voda.
